Something tells us Victor Ortiz has been bumping "Moment 4 Life" a lot since his blockbuster fight with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was announced earlier this week. Because it seems dude has been patiently waiting for his chance at the champ for a looooooong time now. "Ever since I was a kid, I've said I'll be the first to defeat Mayweather," Ortiz told the Los Angeles Times yesterday. "And now I'm on the doorstep of making it true."
He also didn't shy away from taking the first of many shots at Mayweather, either. "Mayweather's quick, he's a great fighter," Ortiz said, "but I've never been that impressed with his style."
It's not the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight we've been waiting on, but this could be good. [via Boxing Scene]
