Since its debut at the 2012 London Olympics, Nike's Flyknit tech has branched out into nearly every category from soccer to skateboarding. Still, there's one key area of the market it's yet to hit, but that's about to change very soon.

The Nike Free RN Flyknit will be the brand's first ever Flyknit sneaker to release in kids' sizes. It's the exact same high-performance runner that's dropping for men and women, but it's been scaled down for the younger athletes and budding sneakerheads.

This is noteworthy for a couple of reasons; it's the first time that kids will be able to enjoy the breathable, sock-like feel of Flyknit while running, and it also opens the door for future kids' Flyknit lifestyle releases.

The kids' Free RN Flyknit is set to drop in "Photo Blue" and "Hyper Violet" colorways tomorrow, April 7, for $130 apiece from nike.com and select Nike Running retailers.
