With the 2016 MLB season in full swing, Nike's taking the perfect opportunity to dig through the archives and bring back one of baseball's best signature sneakers of all-time

Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr.'s first signature Nike trainers are dropping in just a few weeks according to NikeBlog. Here, the Air Griffey Max 1 takes on an Seattle Mariners-inspired color scheme which has been officially dubbed "Fresh Water." To avoid confusion, it's worth mentioning that this colorway was nicknamed "Emerald" when it last dropped in 2011, while "Fresh Water" was actually the white and black-based look.

This O.G. colorway is dropping on April 21 from select Nike Sportswear retailers.
