One of the year's most anticipated Air Jordan 1 releases is almost here.
The Air Jordan 1 High O.G. "Letterman" drops this weekend, and we've got all the details you need to score a pair. Per Nike's official product description, these Jordan 1s are inspired by the crimson and navy blue windbreaker suit worn by MJ during an appearance on a "television talk show."
Although the brand's language doesn't call it out explicitly, it's clear that the show in question is an episode of Late Night with David Letterman from the '80s. Interestingly enough, Nike says that the episode occurred in 1987, but almost every other source on the Internet cites the year as 1986. Background discrepancies aside, the theme has been executed well on these.
Here's the finer points: the "Letterman" Jordan 1 will be available in sizes 7 through 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 with prices ranging from $120 (kid's) to $160 (adult). The launch will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m. EST sharp via SNKRS for men's sizes and nike.com for kid's. There's a limit of one per customer online, and you'll also be able to find these at select Jordan Brand retailers including Packer Shoes.
