Today’s modern football boots are as much a fashion accessory as it is an integral tool on the pitch, and it's too bad they're not practical for everyday wear. Realising this, Nike have remodeled Cristiano Ronaldo’s 'CR7 Chapter 2: Natural Diamond' boots into the 'CR7 Nike Free Mercurial Superfly'.
Made purely for lifestyle purposes, the sneaker is a blend of Nike’s trademark Free outsole with a lightweight and breathable navy Flyknit upper. The sockliner features a crackle pattern, which is an emphasis of how the two-time Ballon d’Or winner has masterminded his game under pressure. His signature, along with the statement: “Created to the Exact Specifications of Cristiano Ronaldo” can also be found on the sockliner.
As a nod to being inspired by the Natural Diamond boots, the sneaker is given chrome-colored lace tips and a no-sew metallic silver Nike Swoosh.
