After yesterday's miniature preview, today we've got the full rundown on the Nike Air Zoom KD9.

The Zoom KD9 was designed by Leo Chang with the intention of creating a shoe that can match Kevin Durant's distance runner-like coverage on the court, which Nike says amounts to approximately 15 full-length marathons over the span of a season.

Here, the KD line introduces Flyknit for the very first time, appearing in what Nike touts as its most advanced form yet. The KD9's Flyknit pattern uses a honeycomb structure throughout, which is used to give Durant a free range of motion on the hardwood while also providing lockdown and stability.

Down low, a visible Zoom Air unit has been tweaked to taper from back to front, shifting from 16 mm thickness at the heel to 10mm at the forefoot. According to Nike, this allows the Zoom Air cushioning to provide the same bouncy responsiveness it's famous for and absorb shock during high-impact landings at the same time.

The Nike Air Zoom KD9 releases on June 20 from nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers. Check out some of the details and colorways you can expect below.
