Although you probably won't be able to get your hands on the ultra-rare Air Jordan VI "Oscars" that Jordan Brand made for Spike Lee, the word on social media is that a similar pair is on the way.
According to @zSneakerHeadz, there's a gold Air Jordan VI Pinnacle slated to drop this December. With an official color code of "Metallic Gold/White," it's safe to assume that this release will look a lot like Spike Lee's personal pair, but you should expect at least a few differences. For starters, we wouldn't count on these being coated in genuine gold like Spike's version, but judging by the Pinnacle tag, they'll still be a premium quality retro.
This info was also supported by @BALTsneakerShow, so it looks like these are a lock for this holiday season. If previous Air Jordan Pinnacle releases are any indication, the retail price for these VIs will be at least $400. Check back soon for official details.
