James Hardendominatedsneakerheadlines last summer year the news of his $200 million adidas deal, but aside from a few Crazylight Boost PEs, we've yet to see the endorsement materialize into any actual product.

Now, in a new interview with Sole Collector, Harden says that his signature shoe is not only in the works, but that there will be a collaboration with the man of the moment, Kanye West.

"Down the line, we'll definitely collab on a sneaker," Harden said of West. "He's never done a basketball shoe before, so that would shake up the shoe game a little bit."

"A little bit" might be an understatement here, as we have a feeling that a Kanye-helmed performance basketball sneaker would cause droves of sneakerheads and hypebeasts to flat-out lose their shit.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Harden says that he doesn't mind taking some extra time to hammer out the finer points of his first signature shoe. "It's in the process right now. I want my first shoe to be well thought of and not just have the adidas symbol on it... It's taking some time, but I'm fine with that," Harden said.
