Having only established themselves in 2014 Swedish footwear label Axel Arigato have already garnered a good reputation as an affordable luxury sneaker brand. Known for their minimalistic approach, the brand is all about substance combined with style and the new Spring/Summer collection 2016 continues that outlook.

The collection looks at their updated idea of ‘the man on the move’ which is a direct reference to Axel Arigato’s commitment to ‘the kids that lead the youth’. The Spring/Summer 2016 collection offers contemporary pieces that are dedicated to the core design values of minimalism, impeccable construction and using the highest quality materials.

The Swedish brand pride themselves on the fact that all their sneakers are handmade in Portugal with materials that are imported from Italy. The Platform Sneakers which feature heavily in the lookbook are handcrafted from premium Italian materials including the rubber cup-sole made from Margom rubber.
