Another O.G. Air Jordan is getting the Retro Remaster treatment this holiday season.

According to ajordanxi, the original "White/Varsity Red/Black" colorway of the Air Jordan IX is poised to return for the first time since 2010. While they might not be the most sought after of Retro Js, the Jordan IX is especially noteworthy because of its history — it was the first sneaker in the Air Jordan line that Michael Jordan didn't actually wear on the hardwood.

Since the original release in 1993, this O.G. Jordan IX colorway has popped up a few times: first in 2002, then alongside the Air Jordan XIV as part of 2008's Coundtown Pack releases. Its most recent retro was in 2010 with a bunch of new colorways, and now it's finally coming back in remastered form.

An exact release date has not been confirmed, but these Air Jordan IXs are rumored to be releasing for Black Friday in November.
