Ten years ago on January 22, 2006, Kobe Bryant scored 81-points in a game against the Toronto Raptors. Setting a record for the second most points scored in a NBA game, behind Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game, Bryant made it clear why he was one of the greatest player ever if it wasn't already clear. Just like that, in true sneaker culture fashion, the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 was a special sneaker for its part in the historic game. Now, as Bryant's career comes to an end, there are indications from Nike's SNKRS app that the 81-point game sneaker will be re-released.

With the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 "All Star" already slated to hit retailers soon, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Zoom Kobe 1 follow suit, as it also features All Star details with a star on the tongue and "ALL STAR 2006" lasered on the inside.

While there is no scheduled release date, an All Star Weekend release is likely. Stay posted for more information and official images.
