Nike loves to use Kevin Durant's life as inspiration for colorways on his signature sneakers, and there is no doubt that his time at the University of Texas was an important stage in his journey. To pay respect to his college career, and hook up his alma mater, Nike has created another KD 8 PE for the University of Texas basketball team.
The University of Texas Basketball Equipment staff took to Twitter to show off this "Burnt Orange" Nike KD 8 PE. The photo was just posted earlier today and looks like was fresh out of the box, so look for the team to bring these out on court soon. Just another perk of playing basketball at an NBA superstar's alma mater.
No word on if these will release, but it looks like they'll remain a team PE for now.
