The NBA season isn't even halfway done yet, but Jordan Brand is already feeling pretty confident that Chris Paul will be playing in the postseason. His Los Angeles Clippers are currently sitting in fourth place of the Western Conference, and while the West is always competitive, everyone expects the Clippers to be in the playoffs again. With that being said, Jordan Brand is already looking ahead and created Paul's CP3 IX AE for him to wear when the Clippers hit the playoffs.

This update to Paul's latest signature sneaker keeps the overall shape of the IX, but switches up the upper from synthetic leather to a seamless engineered upper, which will allow Paul to be lighter on his feet when his team needs it the most. With the CP3 IX already being celebrated as one of Paul's best sneakers ever, it looks like Jordan Brand will continue to milk its popularity with updates to the design.

Nikeblog reports that this sneaker should hit retailers in the spring.
