Rise and PUMA have a collaboration on deck. But this one is different from the litany of collabs that we write about daily.
For Rise co-founder Chase Ceparano, this one is personal. Ceparano lost his father to HIV/AIDS in 1994 when he was only 10 years old. For his shop's latest collaboration, in honor of tomorrow's World Aids Day, Rise and PUMA are coming together on a Blaze of Glory, a project which they've dubbed, "New York is For Lovers." The collab calls attention to HIV/AIDS Awareness in an effort to stimulate conversation, better educate the community about the subject, and to empower people. In addition to the upcoming release, Rise will also be making a $15,000 donation to amFAR - the American Foundation for AIDS Research.
The collab is set to drop exclusively at the Rise Pop-up shop on 345 Broome Street in New York City tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1, followed by an on-line release of remaining inventory beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday on RISE45. Retail is set at $145.
