As Art Basel in Miami Beach, FL. quickly approaches, Concepts hints at something special happening during the week-long event.
The Boston based brand took to Instagram to tease fans with three vague posts indicating its presence at Art Basel. Featuring images of armed law enforcement agents in a field, large amounts of money, and the Cocaine Godmother Griselda Blanco, the posts are captioned, "12.05.15 Miami Beach, FL Undisclosed Location #cncpts."
With what looks like a possible pop-up shop, the clear drug references indicate that to be the theme of the event. It wouldn't be a surprise if there was another drug-inspired sneaker collaboration coming soon as Concepts built a trap house for its "8-ball" ASICS Gel Lyte V collaboration. Other drug-inspired sneakers like the Pusha T's "Black Market" and "Off White" adidas EQT Guidance Running '93s have also done extremely well.
