The list of complaints that O.G. 'heads have when it comes to retro Air Jordans releases is a long one, but the changing of original details and materials ranks at the top. One of the biggest is the traditional absence of "Nike Air" branding on retros of early Air Jordan models. Jordan Brand has slowly began bringing this detail back, and now the Air Jordan V looks like the latest to feature "Nike Air" on the heel.

Sneakergaga took to Instagram to share this "2016 sample" that features the O.G. branding. While some will still complain about details like "Jordan" on the bottom instead of "Nike," this is an exciting moment for Air Jordan V fans. Hopefully this is a sign of more O.G. specs on 2016 drops.

No word on a release date yet.
