Following up the release of the LeBron 13, Nike is set to drop an all-new sneaker in the LeBron James line. Inspired and named after his hometown, the Nike Air Akronite is a brand new silhouette made just for kids. In addition to the Akron inspiration, this sneaker also borrows design elements from other popular Nike models.

Debuting in a silver, grey, orange, and blue colorway, this sneaker uses some of the logos from the Nike LeBron "Galaxy" 9 and the sole of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II. It is not known whether this shoe will eventually release in men's sizes, too, but either way, it's cool to see Nike honoring James' Akron roots.

The price of this sneaker is not available yet, but it set to release on Oct. 15 at kidsfootlocker.com.
