We previewed the latest New Balance Made in U.S.A. collections last week, and now these premium runners are finally making their way to stores. Highlighted today is the M997CSIY, better known as the "Connoisseur Ski" style.

Draped in a smooth red pigskin suede, this 997 is inspired by vintage ski wear like flashy jackets and cozy knits. It features navy hits at the mesh toe and suede heel, while soft grey accents the midsole and plastic eyelet. It's a look reminiscent of the J. Crew "Inferno" 998s, yet far more subtle and appropriate for the season. Best of all, they're made right here in the U.S.A.

The "Connoisseur Ski" New Balance 997s are still available in a nearly full size run from Extra Butter for $210, but these won't last long. Don't get caught sleeping on the slopes.
