The First YouTube Video to Get a Million Views Was Made by Nike

YouTube was a lot different 10 years ago. There wasn't a legion of people reviewing every sneaker release, and it wasn't as easy for a video to go viral. These days, if a video doesn't have a least a million views, it's not a success. But the first clip to receive this amount of viewership wasn't someone doing something completely ridiculous. It was a video by Nike, which featured soccer star Ronaldinho and shows him rifling a shot off the crossbar of a goal, only to catch it and continue to juggle the ball. He did all of this while wearing Nike Tiempo cleats, too.

It's been a decade since this video came out, and Nike Football plans to launch something big tomorrow, as promised by its Twitter account.
