Before Nike became the powerhouse that it is today, adidas was a much bigger player in the U.S. sneaker market. Which company is truly superior has always been a topic of discussion, especially after Kanye West left Nike for a deal with adidas. But what would it be like if the two teamed up to create something great? Canadian graphic artist Dead Dilly turned that thought into a visual for ILS Mag, and the outcome is interesting.
The renderings mix Flyknits with Ultra Boosts and Sock Darts with Rick Owens' adidas. There's even a Nike Air Yeezy II, made out of Flyknit, with a Yeezy Boost sole.
Don't get too excited because a collaboration like this is likely to never happen, but it's great to see the two companies interchanged so seamlessly.
