Sneaker collaborations are a dime a dozen these days, but brands such as Vans like to keep them limited and work with high-profile partners. One of the revered Vans projects over the years is the Mister Cartoon-designed Authentics for the Syndicate program, which is the first collaboration that the subdivsion of the company embarked on ten years ago. It's been 10 years, and the collab is back, albeit in different colors.

Vans is retroing the Mister Cartoon Authentics and releasing them in a black denim and gold colorway. What makes the sneakers special is Cartoon's artwork of a clown and woman with angel wings — the type of work that has helped define his career.

Expect the sneakers to release on Saturday, July 18 at a retail price of $80. A complete list of retailers can be found here.
