UPDATE (7/29, 9:50 a.m.):

US11 has shared stock images of two previously unseen Air EnterTrainer colorways. We still don't know if these have any true association with Kanye, but with more samples hitting the 'net, it looks like they will definitely be releasing in the future. Check back soon for more updates on this Yeezy-esque design.

At this point, it's safe to say that we'll never see another Nike Air Yeezy sneaker, but today we're getting a look at a sample that exudes some undeniable Kanye vibes.

Spotted by Sole Collector, this unreleased Nike sample was recently listed on overseas marketplace Klekt. From the jump, the name of the sneaker alone is enough to raise a few eyebrows. It's called the Nike Air EnterTrainer — get it? Considering the fact that Kanye was the only non-athlete to have his own Nike signature shoe, this seems like an obvious allusion to Mr. West.

But there's more. The sneaker itself boasts a number of design cues similar to that of Kanye and Nike's last project, the Air Yeezy 2. Most notable are the Air EnterTrainer's molded "spine" heel and toebox mesh, both of which appear extremely similar to their Yeezy 2 counterparts. Furthermore, the midsole is a direct transplant from the Nike Air Trainer SC II, which would follow the trend of utilizing pre-existing tooling on Kanye's sneakers.

Ultimately, we can't say for sure if the Nike Air EnterTrainer has any real connection to Kanye, but there's clearly something more than just innocent inspiration going on here.
