At this point, you're probably well-acquainted with the Converse Jack Purcell. It's been around since the 1930s and has transcended sneaker culture, becoming an American icon in the process.

With that in mind, we're willing to bet you've never seen the Jack Purcell in this form. For its third collection with Scotland's Hancock Vulcanised Articles, Converse has chosen the low-top Jack Purcell Ox as its base, re-imagining the silhouette's lines for an all-new model, the Jack Purcell Rally.

Hancock's touch comes in the form of a vulcanized water-repellent upper which is further enhanced with a cured rubber overlay. In other words, these are able to take a beating in wet weather and come out unscathed. They're available in a trio of bright, summer-ready colorways and might be the alternative you need to save your grails from catching wreck this season.

The Hancock x Converse Jack Purcell Rally collection hits select First String retailers on July 10 for a retail price of $150.
