We're currently in the midst of Jordan Brand celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, and the Nike offshoot has big things planned past the end of this year. Announcing in a press release today, Jordan has many retro sneakers planned for Spring 2016, and they pay homage to critical junctures in Michael Jordan's history.

Broken into three parts, there will be the "Poster" collection, which has a white/black Air Jordan II and a mostly black Air Jordan XII. Both sneakers get their inspiration from posters that released back in the day.

There's also a set of Air Jordan IIs, IVs, and V Lows that are done-up in "Alternate" colorways for the Chicago Bulls, the team that Jordan played with for most of his career. The highlight of the pack is a white/red Air Jordan IV.

Lastly is the "Dunk From Above" collection, and it draws its theme from Jordan's dunking ability. For this array of sneakers, there's the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan IV, and Air Jordan V Low. Unlike the two previous packs, there's no black or red on any of these Jordans. They're mostly blue and white with a touch of yellow.

Expect more release information to be rolled out as 2016 comes closer.
