It's been nearly two years (make that three if you count the initial "Bricks & Mortar" announcement in 2012) since Australia's Highs and Lows boutique last hooked up with ASICS, and now the shop has returned with a new installment for 2015.
Using the popular GEL Lyte V as its base, HAL cooked up a military themed motif known as the "Medic." Inspired by gear worn by military medics, these runners are dipped in a black leather and olive drab suede upper. Skipping the obvious camo print, the "Medic" GEL Lyte Vs are tied together with hits of white and red to symbolize the traditional medical cross. Further detailing is found on the tongue, which features a splatter print, and a white glow in the dark midsole for nighttime excursions.
If you're looking to take these to battle, you'll have a chance to cop on May 16 for $210 AU (around $168 USD) exclusively from Highs and Lows. A wider global release will follow on June 6.
