Heading into tonight's NFL Draft, all of the talk will be focused on who will be drafted first: Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston. We'll let the NFL pundits argue about that, because, in our eyes, Marcus Mariota already won as Nike recently blessed the former Oregon Ducks quarterback with his own pair of Lunar Force 1 Lows.
Inspired by his "808 Journey," the Lunar Force 1 Low features a lasered design that highlights the important and reoccurring theme of the number 8 in Mariota's life, which includes nods back to Mariota's upbringing in the 808, a.k.a Hawaii, his career-long commitment to the number 8, and his recent selection as the 80th Heisman award winner.
In addition to the sneakers, Nike also produced a special laser-etched box made from Koa wood. Unfortunately, Mariota fans will not be able to get their hands on these Lunar Force 1 Lows because Nike only cooked up two total pairs. If you are a Titans fan, though, you still have something to look forward to as it looks like Mariota might head your way with the second pick.
