The Superstar appears to be taking a page from another one of adidas' signature silhouettes, the Stan Smith.
Appropriately nicknamed "Clean," the all-new iteration of the sneaker made famous by Run-D.M.C. now features a more streamlined appearance. While its signature rubber shell toe remains the highlight of the upper, the sneaker features completely updated side panels. The Superstar's without its three stripes, perforations, and eyestay overlays. Instead, you have a smooth leather panel with minimal details and clean lines. And if not for the gilded mark at the heel, the sneaker is otherwise unbranded.
