After previous collaborations with Concepts and BAIT, Brooks is quickly back on the scene for another special drop. This time, the 100-year-old company connects with premier sneaker shop Ubiq for a historic collaboration.
Nicknamed "Liberty," the Brooks Chariot pulls direct inspiration from Philadelphia, the city with an abundance of American history and the place Ubiq calls home. The runner's decked out in a premium brown leather upper to give it a genuine handcrafted aesthetic, which serves as a nod to the Liberty Bell. Tonal stitching is spotted throughout the paneling, a subtle touch of rich burgandy lines the entire interior, and gold detailing sets off parts of the sneaker, including the tongue and heel tab. Rounding out the collaboration is a black and white color-blocked midsole as well as a clean gum buttom. Ubiq certainly did its city proud with this one.
Look for the sneakers to drop on Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. EST, in-store and online. Retail price will run you $140.
