With Christmas over, it's time to set our sights on the new year. Peak is celebrating the Chinese New Year by bringing an all new colorway to Tony Parker's signature TP9-II sneaker.

Decorated in red and gold, the sneakers give a bit of a lesson in culture too. It turns out that the shoe's color scheme was inspired by the red envelops filled with money that are given out for Chinese New Year. Tony Parker may be sidelined for a while with his nagging hamstring issue, so who knows if we'll ever see these shoes on court but they are pretty dope nonetheless. Available in China right now, we'll keep you updated about a possible stateside release.

Check out the Peak TP9-II "Chinese New Year" above and keep it with Sneaker Report for any details regarding its release.
