Even if you didn't watch the Giants and Cowboys play on Sunday night, chances are you've seen the ridiculous one-handed catch made by the Giant's Odell Beckham Jr. Some are calling the catch the greatest in NFL history, and it immediately caused a buzz in the social media world, and has since provided a major financial boost for Nike.

The catch put Beckham Jr. on the map, but Nike is really the one who has the most to gain, as he was wearing the Vapor Jet 3.0 gloves you've seen around the league for some time now. According to reports from Front Row Analytics, Nike received at least $2.2 million in media exposure from Beckham’s catch. Beckham signed on with Nike before the NFL Draft, and it's clearly paying off. The Swoosh took to their football Twitter account yesterday and posted a picture of the catch with the tagline, “Drop Jaws. Catch Everything Else.” Also included in the photo was a link to purchase the Vapor Jet 3.0 gloves. Why not take advantage off the free exposure.

“What a coup for Nike, whose glove helped make it possible,” Bob Dorfman, executive creative director at San Francisco-based marketing firm Baker Street Advertising, said in an e-mail. “Smart of them to take advantage of a play that’s become a viral sensation.”

For anyone who missed the catch, get out from the sheltered life you've been living in and check it out below, it may just be the greatest catch in football history.
