NYC sneakerhead and O.G. Air Force 1 collector Mayor is dropping a collaboration with FILA alongside watch company Flud.
Taking to his Instagram today, Mayor teased the upcoming sneaker, which is the Original Tennis model a.k.a the "Dope Boy shoes," as Fabolous referred to them in our Sneaker Shopping segment. The low-profile FILAs appear to be decked out in a denim upper with red and blue leather hits and a clean gum bottom.
The silhouette is an appropriate one for Mayor. If you recall, he teamed up with Burn Rubber for a capsule collection to celebrate the Detroit shop's D-Boy-themed collection, which also featured the FILA Original Tennis.
According to Mayor, his collab is scheduled to drop next Tuesday, November 25. Expect a full reveal very soon.
Update 11/21: Official photos of the Mayor x Flud x FILA collaboration have been unveiled. The denim-based capsule collection incudes the FILA sneakers, a backpack designed by Mayor, and a bucket hat. Retail price is $200 for the sneakers and backpack together, or $225 including the bucket hat. Limited quantities will be made available through ALIFE in NYC on November 25 followed by an online release on FludWatches.com.
