The Nike Air Max Light is surely an under appreciated silhouette. First dubbed the Air Max II, the Air Max Light was released in 1989 and was designed to be lighter than the Air Max 1, a sneaker that it takes several design cues from.

The Light flew under the radar, until the UK's JD Sports dropped a long list of exclusives of the sneaker more than a few years back, and the retailer is now stocking another stellar colorway of this model. Coming in white, grey, and black, this new pair of Lights is clean and accents the sneaker's design. The mesh is great and the suede is soft. There's not much more you can ask for.

If you want to grab a pair of these understated runners, click here to check them out (you can see the rest of JD's Nike offerings here). They'll roughly cost $141.
