Nike's connection with the University of Oregon runs deep, and it's a relationship that has resulted in a ton of coveted products. The familiar theme makes its way back to the Nike Lunar TR1 to commemorate the school's football program.
After already releasing in black-based "Oregon" color schemes, the Nathan VanHook-designed trainer gets a lighter treatment. The sneaker gets done up in a mostly white mesh upper with shades of metallic silver running from the heel to toe, which results in a subtle wings print. Bright pops of yellow and green make up the Dynamic Flywire and contrasting hits of black are used on the interior, Lunarlon midsole, and Swoosh. Rounding out the Oregon theme is the unmistakable "O" on the tongue and the motto of Oregon's football program, "Win the day," behind the tongue.
For all the Oregon fans, cop the sneakers today on Nike Store for $120, and just pray the Ducks crack the top four in the first-ever College Football Playoff rankings.
