Common Projects has become the quintessential brand for high-quality, minimalist footwear. Its bread-and-butter product, the low-profile Achilles and all its Italian-made leather goodness, is a menswear staple that has served as a gateway for sneakerheads looking to step up their footwear rotation.

Common Projects' founders, Flavio Girolami and Prathan Poopat, celebrated the brand's 10th anniversary this year and caught up with Need Supply Co.'s biannual publication Human Being Journal to provide some insight on their backgrounds and the growth of Common Projects. Girolami and Poopat even talk the importance of the "Made in Italy" label. You can find out more by picking up a copy of Human Being Journal for $10 on Need Supply Co. In the meantime, check out some of the photos straight from the interview.
