For Vans' fans, few releases are as anticipated as the Taka Hayashi collaboration.
Hayashi's artistic vision and attention to detail have made his Vans' models some of the most coveted in the game. Beginning in October, 'heads will be able to get their hands on Hayashi's latest and greatest. This season's collection features three silhouettes, TH Sk8 Mid Skool LX, TH Era Huarache LX and TH Sk8 Huarache LX. The TH Sk8 Mid Skool LX's signature detail is the diamond embossed quarter panels and will be available in three colorways, Light Grey leather, Total Eclipse leather, and Honey nubuck. The TH Sk8 and Era Huarache LX draw their inspiration from traditional huarache-crafting techniques, not the Nikes that most of you are familiar with, and combine rich seasonal appropriate colors, Bordo and Mustang, premium materials, Italian woven textiles, and topped off with laser etching. Whether or not you're a fan of this drop, you have to respect the craftsmanship and effort put forth in this entire collection. Make sure you hit up your local Vault by Vans dealers later this week to secure your pair of the latest Hayashis.
