The Miami Heat’s Championship loss feels like it was a lifetime ago, and even LeBron’s move to Cleveland is old news, but that doesn’t mean everyone has recovered. For some, it’s still a time of mourning, especially in Miami. For those that are still processing those emotions, Nike is releasing a low top version of the LeBron XI, outfitted perfectly for any funereal mood.

The Black/Black colorway is just that, all black. From the upper, to the midsole, to the laces, to the branding, everything is blanketed black. Textural shifts from the hyperfuse into the toe wrap, with the mesh on the tongue, and flywire system add some variation. The outsole for the shoe is made from gum, always a coveted feature. It’s not all doom and gloom, tho, as the lining of the shoe features a splatter of colors reflected in a pair of socks that Nike is releasing along with the shoes.

They’re set to release on July 31 at 8 a.m. on Nike.com and at other retailers. Retail price is $170. They'll also be made available in kid's sizes for $135.
