Finally, the days of football players getting their own signature trainers is back. Throughout the years we saw some of the most iconic trainers come from signature lines of football players including Barry Sanders. Deion Sanders, and Bo Jackson. Nike is revitalizing this by hooking up Calvin Johnson with his second signature shoe.

The Nike Zoom CJ Trainer 2 "Visor" is built for the speed and strength of Calvin, and this colorway channels where he is most dangerous, the Red Zone. Nike used a black mesh for the base, and backed it with Flywire technology for an adaptive, natural fit. Also along the upper is white leather overlays from the toe box up to the tongue, that gives the trainer a unique look. Finally, Nike went away from the typical Lions colorway's and highlighted the tough outsole, and heel logo with a bold red look.

You can pick up the Zoom CJ Trainer 2 "Visor" from select retailers and the Nike Store this Friday, June 27.
