Since the Nike Air Max 1 first debuted nearly 30 years ago, it's experienced its share of changes. From the original mesh in '87 to Engineered Mesh, Hyperfuse, and Premium Tape, this runner's been the recipient to Nike's ever-evolving technology. Despite all of this, the Air Max 1's signature midsole, for the most part, has always stayed true to original form no matter the changes to the sneaker's upper, until now.

Concepts' Deon Point recently took to Instagram to share a sample of the Nike Air Max 1 "O.G." with Lunar treatment. The sneaker's outfitted in a grey mesh with University Red accents and a Lunarlon midsole. Nothing has been officially confirmed by Nike regarding a release, but wouldn't it be rad to see this signature Air Max 1 colorway get an updated midsole?
