Ask just about anyone who follows the NFL who the best wide receiver in the league is, chances are the answer will always be Calvin Johnson. Going into his 8th year, Johnson has dominated just about every defense in the league, so it's no surprise Nike turned to him as an athlete who deserved a signature shoe.

The Nike Zoom CJ Trainer 2 is the second in line of signature shoes for Johnson and will most likely be the focus of Nike's marketing campaign as Darrelle Revis' signature line has all but faded out. Like many of the trainers we see from Nike, the Zoom CJ Trainer 2 is built from a combination of synthetic leather and mesh through the upper and utilizes a mis-foot strap for a more secured, locked down feel. Nike stepped away from Megatron's Lion colorway and thought outside the box giving it a turf orange upper with white and poison green accents along the midsole, outsole, laces, and Swoosh logo.

Check out Calvin's signature trainer in further detail below, and let us know if you plan to scoop these up when they hit retail May 14, at select retailers including Foot Action.
