It's been a disappointing season for both the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. The two historic franchises have dealt with numerous injuries this season, but that doesn't mean that fireworks couldn't be lit when both teams met up in Chicago tonight. The game went into overtime after Nick Young made three free throws on a Joakim Noah foul.

With the game knotted at 100, Bulls forward Taj Gibson found himself under the rim for a wide open layup to give the Bulls the win over Los Angeles in overtime 102-100. Gibson finished with a modest 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks but he finishes with the most important bucket of the game. It would've been nice to see a Laker standing in front of Gibson since he is actually standing under the basket.

Gibson was wearing the adidas Rose 773 2 in the game. The Rose 773 2 features an upper similar to the one see on the Rose 3.5, housed on an adiPure CrazyQuicksole, giving players the best of both comfort and traction. As far as the tech goes, Rose 773 2 includes all of the usual culprits generally featured in adidas-branded performance shoes, including Sprintweb in the upper for breathable, lightweight support, and an articulated adiPure CrazyQuick midsole for cushioning and responsiveness. You can pick it up for $95.
