Mississippi State took the field yesterday against Oregon State in the opening game of the College World Series. The Bulldogs managed to kick off the series with a 5-4 win, advancing to Monday's game against Indiana. Meanwhile, Oregon State is now in jeopardy of heading home, just one loss away from elimination.
