Successfully fusing together impeccable style and unmatched functionality is a hard skill to master for performance apparel brands. Arc'teryx, however, is part of an elite few that have done it on a consistent basis.

For the average patron, Arc'teryx is simply that one cool brand whose name you can never recall. But for anyone who has at has ventured into the wide realm of outdoor adventure, the Arc'teryx brand provides piece of mind for those brave enough to test the limits of nature. The latest example is the all-new Arc'teryx ACMG Guide Jacket. As a result of the collaborative efforts between Arc'teryx and the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, the ACMG Guide Jacket is designed to help improve the safety and increase the maneuverability of guides who inevitably venture out into the wilderness. Made from a ultra-waterproof GORE-TEX fabric, and complimented with a helmet-friendly hood, the ACMG Guide is ready to perform in some of the most extreme weather conditions. Other key performance elements include molded zipper garages that are radio-friendly and HemLock inserts to keep the jacket hem secured.

No word yet whether the jacket will be available for the general population—we've got our fingers crossed.
