Nike Rivington Court recently played host to the "Battle of the Boroughs" which saw Brooklyn's team narrowly squeak out a victory against the Harlem squad during a hotly contested championship game. Players wore special "Battle of the Boroughs" Nike Air Max Hyperposites where the "NYC" themed colorway was given away for a special promotion during the game. The "Statue of Liberty" pair will see a release though, and word is they will be dropping sometime in November. The shoe comes in a crystal mint colorway representing the tarnish resulting from oxidation. Then spatters of copper are spread over the shoe to really give it that Lady Liberty feel. Check back for official release date and locations in the near future. [via Sneaker News]
