While on set for her first-ever Complex cover story, Insecure star Issa Rae sat down with Complex Hustle to break down her career path up to this point and how she stays motivated.
"I don't like hearing no. I accept it when I'm ready to accept it. But for me I'm always going to try to find that yes. I'm always going to try to make that yes," Rae explained. "If and when I do recognize that a project isn't working or an idea isn't great, then my hustle always is moving on and not thinking that this is the last great idea that I'm ever going to have. For me, it's about having the confidence to say, I have more."
