If you're like us, you grew up getting the shit scared out of you while reading R.L. Stine's Goosebumps books, or watching the classic TV series. There was Goosebumps movie that came out in 2015, and we wouldn't be surprised if you didn't see it, but we know one thing: when you graduated from the Goosebumps books, you more than likely graduated to the Fear Street series, which catered to young adults who wanted to get frightened.

For those who loved Fear Street, you'll be excited to know that Fox will be bringing the books to theaters in the form of a Fear Street trilogy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the deal calls for the movies to be shot back-to-back-to-back, and then be released back-to-back-to-back, one month at a time.

It's an exciting plan, especially if it's a situation where it's an interconnected story; some sequels might take a year or two before being released, meaning you could forget some of the smaller nuances. With a trilogy of movies dropping one month after the other? It feels like a much more event-style roll out, which is unique...and could be profitable. THR says that insiders are calling the release "bingeing movies," which definitely gives it more of  Netflix-y vibe.

As of now, there's no word on when these films will start shooting, or if there are any concrete ideas for a release date, but Leigh Janiak, who directed the 2014 indie horror flick Honeymoon, is attached to the trilogy.
