Game of Thrones may be rapidly reaching its conclusion, which could leave a void in your life. Luckily that void (at least the Game of Thrones one) may not exist for long, at least if HBO has their way.

We say that because the premium channel has made deals with four different writers to tap into multiple spin-off ideas of the mega hit show. As of yet, there is no timeline for these projects. "We’ll take as much or as little time as the writers need and, as with all our development, we will evaluate what we have when the scripts are in," said a spokesperson, according to Variety.

The veteran screenwriters heading these projects have very impressive resumes, and include Max Borenstein (who worked on Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island), Jane Goldman (who worked on X-Men: Days of Futures Past and Kingsman: The Secret Service), Brian Helgeland (who worked on L.A. Confidential and Legend) and Carly Wray (who worked on Mad Men and The Leftovers).

Furthermore, both Wray and Goldman will be working with GoT creator George R.R. Martin, and showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff are attached to all four projects (though they won't be writing them).

Season 7 of the OG program, which will only contain seven episodes, is set to debut on July 16. Season 8, which is already in development, and will be the show's final season, will have only six-to-eight episodes.

Enjoy it while you can.
