On April 28th, the producer of this year’s breakout hit Get Out presents a new film that is mind-bending, genre-melding, and an all-out electric thrill ride: Sleight.
Sleight stars Jacob Latimore (The Maze Runner) as Bo, a young street magician who is left to care for his little sister Tina after their parents’ passing. Just as Bo starts to fall for the beautiful Holly (Seychelle Gabriel), he finds himself getting lured into some pretty dangerous illegal activities by a local drug dealer (Ballers’ Dulé Hill) that put both him and Tina in danger. But when the crew goes too far and kidnaps Tina, Bo starts harnessing his magical abilities in ways that are much more powerful than any street trick. In the end, Bo is forced to use both his mystical talents and brilliant mind to save his sister—and himself.
