50 Cent in 'Power'

By the time Power returns for its fourth season this summer, it will have been almost a year since a new episode had aired. The last time most people talked about it, though, was due to controversy in the form of 50 Cent's dick making an appearance in a Season 3 episode. 50, who produces Powerthrew shots at Power creator Courtney Kemp via Instagram, saying "this is not funny" while imploring her to call him. Kemp clapped back on IG, saying 50 "signed the waiver like everybody else."

In a new interview with Refinery 29, Kemp set the record straight regarding this beef, and lo and behold, it's fake (according to Kemp, at least). "It’s all bullsh*t! 50 and I are extremely close, so all that social media drama? It’s just for the show,. People truly believed that he did not know his dick was going to be on camera."

"I couldn’t believe it," she continued. "Do you know how long we had to prepare for that shot? Of course he knew. The whole thing just gave us so much more buzz and helped me realize how we can use social media to our advantage. 50 Cent is a brilliant marketer."

If 50 Cent is anything, he's the don when it comes to building up hype for something. Just look at, well, his entire rap career (or at least the years where he was undeniably the hottest thing in the game).
