The Turkish restaurant owner who became the Internet's latest overnight sensation has said he's planning to bring his restaurant to London.
Nusret Gökçe – or 'Salt Bae' – went viral after he uploaded a video of himself theatrically sprinkling salt onto some finely sliced meat. In the weeks since the video first blew up, Rihanna has counted herself amongst his fans.
Now, Nusret, who co-owns a global chain of grill houses called Nusr-et, is setting his sights on London and New York, according to an interview he did with Turkey's Hürriyet Daily News.
Nusret is one of the most famous chefs in Turkey.
Nusret's grill houses are destination spots in Turkey and a flick through Instagram reveals the restaurant has welcomed the likes of Mesut Ozil, Manuel Neuer and ex-England manager Fabio Capello.
We can already see Salt Bae setting up in Shoreditch.
