Among the most anticipated films of 2017 is Zack Snyder’s Justice League. After the debut trailer premiered at San Diego Comic Con last summer, fans couldn't wait to get more information on the film as its Nov. 17, 2017 release date draws nearer.

On Sunday, USA Today published “The Most Must-See Films of 2017” that contained an exclusive image of Justice League. In it, Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) come together as Justice League.

This year, admirers of the DC Universe will get a closer look of Wonder Woman’s origin story when her solo movie set during World War I arrives on June 2. Snyder, who is also a producer on the film, tells USA Today that Wonder Woman finds “humanity isn’t always the most kind and awesome thing.”

He adds, “It has its moments, but it can be brutal, and her coming to terms with that dichotomy is what we come to learn about her. And in Justice League, she’s fully evolved into someone who’s embraced mankind, partly through Superman’s sacrifice. She’s like, ‘All right, I’ve got to pick it up.’ ”

Justice League was originally pegged as a two-part release with the second film slated for June 14, 2019, however it is now being released as a standalone film.
